Tesla road trip on Whidbey Island — amazing 3-day itinerary

November 16, 2020 by Matthew

a gray Tesla sits on the side of a road just on the edge of a bank leading down to a beach on Whidbey Island in the middle of the Puget Sound

The Pacific Northwest is my home, and nothing brings more joy to my heart than exploring the vast diversity Oregon and Washington States have to offer -- pristine waters, majestic mountains, soulful forests and quirky cities. The long and narrow stretch of land takes command in the Puget Sound, spanning 55 miles -- from the Clinton Ferry Terminal (on the south) to dramatic … [Read more...] about Captain Whidbey — all you need to know to enjoy the island hotel in peaceful Penn Cove

A day trip from Seattle to the dramatic coastlines of Deception Pass and Anacortes will provide stunning views like this. A high stone faced cliff rises from bright green saltwater quietly resting in the sea below. There are small fir trees at the top of the cliff leading to a blue sky above. The cliff casts a slight dark shadow over the water and in the foreground small shrubs pop their heads up.

This article outlines a fantastic day trip itinerary taking in the beautiful nature of the Salish Sea -- from Seattle to Deception Pass. The itinerary includes things to do in Anacortes Total drive time from/to Seattle 3:57 hours. Total distance from/to Seattle 184 miles. I would like to acknowledge that much of my inspiration comes from living on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
