Mother Earth wants to help.
Do you feel drained of energy, or too busy to ever catch up with time for yourself? Has the stress of the pandemic clouded your vision, making it hard to get grounded in the painfully emerging new normal? Or is there deeper trauma?
They say the best way is “through,” even though that often means facing difficult truth-telling and very uncomfortable conversations. My own healing path required courage to face my past directly in order to grow and transform. It isn’t easy.
But in the thick of it, Mother Earth was there to help me integrate nature into my healing. Copious amounts of practice and trust allowed my mystic gifts to blossom — leading to a unique ability to bridge the world we see with the unseen realm of nature.
I’ve invested a lifetime guiding myself and others through nature and can help you find just the right tools to build your own personal relationship with the salve of the organic world – in ways that will transform your life.
Building an authentic and lasting friendship with nature starts with intention and quiet.
Many times in the past I’ve made the mistake of quickly jumping from [a safely parked] car to get the obligatory selfie of Yosemite, or just walked long enough on the sand at Cannon Beach to get a good look at Haystack Rock.
And while there is nothing wrong with succinct nature experiences, they usually don’t go much deeper than a fleeting moment on social media. It’s entirely possible, for example, to drive the entire 363-mile Oregon Coast without feeling any particular connection to the land.
Ask for an invitation
Before starting out, thank the land and acknowledge the indigenous people (if you know the specific group even better) who historically lived here. Gain a sense of permission to join.
Set an intention
Decide how you want to use your time with nature, and take a few moments to really focus. Create a container around this experience.
Bring about quietude
Make it a point to silence (or leave behind) any technology so your container can remain as quiet as possible, allowing you to truly open up to connection with nature.
Move with connection
While there is nothing wrong with taking photos, try to connect your body with the scene. Ask yourself how this photo brings more to your life.
But… where to go to get this “perfect” connection?
Aim for excellence rather than perfection. You can literally walk outside and sit on a park bench to gain excellence. It doesn’t have to be fancy, or fulfill someone else’s view of natural beauty.
This said, if you’re interested in some specific places I’ve found particularly inspiring, peruse through my many articles around the Pacific Northwest for ideas. Or, if you don’t find what suits your needs, reach out to me — I love to help plan nature getaways!
Self-guided tours
You might want to go at your own pace, or still keep your distance from others… I get it. My self-guided tours provide exactly what you need to enter a beautiful organic space and start your own journey connecting with nature.
Some examples include touring the Olympic Peninsula, visiting the Washington Arboretum in Seattle, or exploring the Painted Hills in Central Oregon.
Come exploring with me
I also offer personally guided experiences with places suited to the time of year and my own love of Pacific Northwest nature. There will be a little bit of homework beforehand which helps set up a container for your own intentions.
Travel and logistics are up to you, but I have detailed guides to help with that. We meet at the location and begin the work together to engage Mother Earth in new and exciting ways.

My new site is so much faster and easier to work with than my old site. It used to take me an hour or more to update a page. I would definitely work with them again!
